ADMISSION RULES
Visitors who have booked tickets to join a coordinate group can
enter the Vatican Museums without waiting on the line. Entrance must
be strictly at the admission time written on the voucher, usually at
9.30 am. Visitors who do not arrive on time, will have to wait on
the line. It is suggested to arrive 15 minutes before the admission
time written on the voucher. This reservation allows you to avoid
the long time queue to buy the standard tickets for the entrance to
the Vatican Museums, that starts at 10:00 a.m. Even if our ticket
grants you a privilege not to stay on line, it may happen that you
should have to wait some minutes more compared to the time written
on the voucher due to the enormous number of visitors that the
Vatican Museums daily receive. Vatican Tour Services will not be
responsible for some possible delays due to unexpected problems of
the Vatican ticket offices.
PLEASE NOTE: an Assistant of our Agency (Vatican Tour
Services), will be waiting all visitors in front of the Vatican
Museums. Our assistant will have a large sign with OUR LOGO to be
recognized. Visitors give the assistant their voucher that they
printed and brought with them. Once the group is complete the
assistant will lead all visitors inside the Museum and provide
tickets. Then the assistant will lead visitors to the Courtyard of
the Pigna where you will receive a map and suggested itinerary. From
the Courtyard of the Pigna visitors tour the museum on their own.
This ticket does not include any guided tour.
Visitors can rent Audio Guides inside the Museum.
Access to the Museums is permitted only to visitors with proper
attire.
All the reservations, dates and departures times may be changed or
cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances related to activities of
the Holy Father.
For the reservation the Vatican requires the names of all the
participants.
